Gloria Hansen / Board Member

Community Volunteer

Gloria grew up in a little town named Lexington in central Ohio. After college she moved to San
Francisco where she worked in management for thirty years at two international firms, one in
banking and the other in management consulting and data analytics. When she and her partner
decided to leave the corporate world, they chose Lexington, Kentucky as their new home
because of its beauty, its relaxed lifestyle and its welcoming people. They created a horse farm
from a worn-out tobacco farm, and developed two subdivisions of one- and five-acre homesites
with an emphasis on protecting and enhancing the natural beauty of the land. Gloria enjoys
volunteering with Lexington Community Radio because she believes in its mission and wants to
help ensure that ALL of Lexington’s citizens are informed, empowered and engaged.
